Privacy Policy
Last updated: September 8, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Davis Strength Systems LLC (“Davis Strength Systems,” “we,” “us” or “our”) collects, uses and shares information when you use the MYLIFT mobile app, the website at myliftapp.com, the member portal and the services available through them (together, the “Service”). It also explains the choices you have.
By using the Service you agree to this policy and to our Terms of Service. The Service is for adults aged 18 and over.
1. Information we collect
Information you give us
- Account details: your name, email address, password, and, if you add them, a profile photo, location, time zone, a short bio and links to your social profiles (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok).
- Training data: the programs you follow and the workouts you log: exercises, sets, reps, weight lifted, rest times and your preferred unit of measurement. Together this describes your physical activity over time.
- Community and coaching content: comments, posts, photos you share with other members, and messages you exchange with coaches.
- Purchase details: the plan you chose and your billing history. If you pay on the web, your card is handled by Stripe; we never see or store your full card number. If you pay through Apple or Google, they handle payment entirely and only tell us that your membership is active.
- Support requests: anything you send us when you contact support.
Information collected automatically
- Usage data: which screens and features you use, when, and for how long, so we can understand how the Service is used and improve it.
- Device and technical data: device type and model, operating system and version, app version, language, a device or advertising identifier where your platform provides one, IP address and approximate (city-level) location derived from it, and crash and performance logs.
- Notification preferences: which reminders you have turned on, such as rest-timer and new-week alerts.
Information from others
- Apple and Google confirm your purchases and subscription status to us.
- If you were previously a member through another platform and asked us to carry your account over, we received your account and training history from it.
What we do not collect
The app does not currently read data from Apple Health, Google Health Connect, or any wearable. It does not track your location in the background, and it does not collect nutrition or dietary information. If that changes we will update this policy and ask for your permission in the app first.
2. How we use it
We use the information above to:
- provide the Service: run your account, deliver programs, log your workouts, show your progress and enable coaching and community features;
- process your membership, trial and payments, and send you receipts and billing notices;
- send the reminders and notifications you have turned on, and service messages about your account or changes to the Service;
- respond when you contact support;
- understand how the Service is used, fix problems, and improve and develop programs and features;
- keep the Service safe: detect abuse, enforce our Terms and community rules, and protect our members and our rights;
- with your consent where the law requires it, tell you about new programs, features and offers. You can opt out at any time (see Section 7);
- comply with the law.
Your training data is fitness and physical-activity information. We use it only to run and improve the Service for you, and we do not sell it or use it to make decisions about you for insurance, employment or credit.
3. What other members can see
Your profile name, photo, bio and social links, and anything you post to the activity feed or comment on, are visible to other members of the MYLIFT community. Workouts appear to others only where you have chosen to share them. Messages with coaches are private between you and the coaching team. Please think before you post, because we cannot control what other members do with content you have made visible to them.
5. How long we keep it
We keep your information for as long as you have an account, so that your training history is there when you come back. After your account is deleted we remove or anonymise your personal information within 30 days, except where we need to keep some of it for a longer period, for example billing records for tax and accounting purposes, or information we need to resolve a dispute or enforce our Terms. Content you shared with other members may remain visible to them in the form it was shared, and copies may persist in routine backups for a limited time before they are cycled out.
6. Deleting your account
You can delete your MYLIFT account, and the personal information associated with it, at any time:
- in the app, from Account settings; or
- by emailing support@myliftapp.com from the address on your account. We will confirm the deletion within 30 days.
Deleting your account does not cancel a membership billed through Apple or Google. Cancel that in your Apple ID or Google Play subscription settings, or you may continue to be charged.
7. Your choices and rights
- Access and correction: you can see and update most of your information in the app. For anything else, email us.
- Notifications: turn reminders on or off in the app’s notification settings or your device settings.
- Marketing email: use the unsubscribe link in any marketing email. You will still receive service and billing messages.
- Analytics and advertising identifiers: you can limit ad tracking or reset your advertising identifier in your iOS or Android privacy settings.
- Deletion: see Section 6.
Depending on where you live, you may also have the right to request a copy of your personal information, to restrict or object to certain uses, to have it moved to another provider, and to complain to your local data-protection authority. California residents have the rights described in the CCPA, including the right to know what personal information we collect and to request its deletion; we do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioural advertising, and we do not discriminate against you for exercising your rights. To make any request, email support@myliftapp.com and we will verify that the request comes from you and respond within the time the law requires.
8. Security
We protect your information with measures appropriate to its sensitivity, including encryption in transit, access controls on our systems and providers who are contractually required to protect it. No system is perfectly secure, so please use a strong, unique password and tell us at once if you think your account has been accessed without your permission.
9. Age
The Service is for adults aged 18 and over and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone younger. If you believe someone under 18 has created an account, email support@myliftapp.com and we will delete it.
10. Where your information is processed
We are based in the United States and our providers process information there and in other countries. If you use the Service from outside the United States, your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States, where privacy laws may differ from those where you live. We take steps to make sure it is protected in line with this policy wherever it is processed.
11. Changes to this policy
We will update this policy as the Service and the law change. When a change is material we will let you know, by email or a notice in the app, before it takes effect. The “Last updated” date at the top tells you when the current version came into force.
